Our inspiration and purpose
The County Line Kitchen began as a way to showcase our handcrafted products and connect with our wonderful customers. While we currently offer person-to-person sales, our dream is to expand to online orders, making our unique items accessible to even more homes. We also love taking on special requests, whether it's something like pickled eggs or another custom order, we’re always eager to make your culinary dreams a reality. This platform helps us stay in touch and grow together.
Our unique philosophy and personality
Beyond our delicious treats, we bring a unique passion to our farm stand rooted in the "use every part" philosophy—a nod to the old ways when grandmothers used everything to create meals. This homesteading spirit, combined with the joyful chaos of juggling farm life, kids' sports, and creating, is at our core. We love sharing recipes so you can craft your own masterpieces. We’re down-to-earth, a little salty, and always ready for a good joke. We truly aim to offer something for everyone, from great-grandma to the little ones, and even the family pets!
A peek into our kitchen and garden
Our garden this year became a "go big or go home" adventure, expanding far beyond staple vegetables to include watermelons, cantaloupes, every type of pepper, and even fruit trees like peaches that are uncommon in our area. We're even venturing into indoor greenhouse items such as banana trees and pineapples! A typical day in our kitchen is a delightful chaos: stoves bustling, umpteen loads of dishes, kids helping with canning, and music blaring (much to our kids' amusement!). We’re always figuring out what delicious creation to make next.
